Established in 2019, 516 Deluxe Fragrance is a Home fragrance brand dedicated to delivering high quality scented products that create soothing environments as well as providing aesthetically appealing interior ornaments for the home.
Bukky and Christianah worked together in an IT company and had a good relationship inside and outside of work. One of the things they had in common was their love for high end products.
For over a decade, Bukky has worked in the wedding stationary industry occasionally gifting her clients with scented candles towards their new homes. Many of her clients returned, complimenting the gift and the beautiful aroma it created. Christianah has always had a passion for home fragrances. She had previously undertaken classes on the history of fragrances, created her own bespoke perfumes and always dreamt of the chance to create more. When trying to stock up on scented products, Bukky noticed the varying quality and limited designs of scented home products available within the market and discussed this with Christianah. Seeing the gaps in the market, both ladies decided to embark on the journey to set up their own home scented company to address these needs.
